Technical Support Engineer

Your core areas

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues related to electrical and mechanical equipment remotely. This role involves direct customer interaction, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

  • Also, you will work with skilled and competent colleagues globally. Besides this, your areas of responsibility will be:
  • Troubleshoot remotely or local electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic errors.
  • Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, fixtures, and control devices as well as mechanical devices.
  • Software update on the customer's equipment.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization, both project managers, team leads and customers on site.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in electrical technology.


Your profile

We imagine that you are a dedicated Technician with a background as Industrial electrician, Automation technician or Engineer. You have experience with PLC mainly Lenze, Siemens STEP 7 and TIA and are eager to learn more. Our ideal candidate comes with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

 

Further, we imagine that:

  • You are thorough
  • You are curious and service minded.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Have strong communications skills.
  • Structured and work systematically
  • Good IT skills in general.

 

You have a creative mind and are brilliant at understanding the customers’ problems and you understand how to convert your findings into sustainable solutions. As some of your colleagues are in other countries, you will get experience with colleagues of different nationalities and cultures.
